There will be a St Peter Port parish drop-in at their stand on the sea side of the Town Church between 10:00am and 12:00 noon this Saturday - 13th July. Douzeniers will be on hand to meet parishioners and to answer any questions about parish activities.

St Peter Port Parish Rates were due for payment on the 7th June, so if you are a property owner in our Parish, now is the time to act to avoid the £25.00 fine (or 10%, whichever is the greater) being imposed. Fines will be added to accounts on Friday 21st June.

We invite all past and present residents of St Peter Port to join us on Sunday 23rd June at 3pm at Les Cotils, Harry Bound Room for afternoon tea and a singsong. Please call the office on 720014 to reserve your place. Transport can be arranged if required.

The service for the Spring Bank Holiday will not change. If you put your refuse and recycling out on Sunday evening, please do so on Sunday 26th May as usual.

We are delighted to announce that the St Peter Port Floral Competition will be held again this year!
You can enter any of the categories – private gardens, hotel, pub, public buildings, shop, café & restaurants, bank or commercial premises – just submit your application form in to the Constables Office no later than 31st May. A form can be accessed here.
Judging will take place between 24th – 30th June and all participants will be invited to the awards ceremony in June.
We wish you all the best of luck and look forward to seeing some stunning floral displays around St Peter Port!

Bank Holiday Monday - service will not change. In other words if you put your refuse and recycling out on Sunday evening, please do so on Sunday 5th May as usual. Liberation Day -if you put your refuse and recycling out on a Wednesday usually, please put it out on Friday 10th May instead.

Volunteers, also known as Womblers, who help to keep the Island and its beaches clean are performing a valuable service and the States of Guernsey wants to support and encourage them. Because of this it is agreed that Womblers should not have to pay to dispose of litter that they have not personally generated. This document gives guidance on how Womblers may dispose of non-recyclable waste collected from public spaces through the registered Wombling scheme which is provided by Guernsey Waste and Agriculture, Countryside and Land Management Services.

Refuse and recycling usually put out on a Thursday evening, please put out on Friday evening this week. If you put your refuse and/or recycling out usually on a Sunday evening, please put out on Monday evening instead next week.
