The hanging baskets around our town centre will be being changed over from Summer to Winter season displays commencing on Wednesday 10th October. The work will start at 4.00 am each day and will be completed by lunchtime Sunday 14th October.

It's been in the media and you may have just received the literature pack from the States of Guernsey. The new collection arrangements are starting on the 2nd September, so please be prepared. Here is a little more information from your Parish office.

On Thursday 26th July, we held a presentation evening at the Constables Offices to present certificates and trophies to all the entrants of our Parish competition. The evening was hosted by Douzenier Jacquie Robin, Chair of Floral St Peter Port Committee.

Under the Ordinance, "Ordonnance General Relative aux Routes, et Chemins, 1840", the Constables of St Peter Port are required to call a public meeting to register any opposition to the proposal to close a certain area of the public highway to create a landscaped area in front of the Havelet Waters development (the old Guernsey Brewery site). A report will then be furnished for the Royal Court.
