Island Wide Voting Referendum on 10th October - Volunteers Needed

Wed 12 Sep 2018

Your Parish needs your help! St Peter Port Douzaine are responsible for manning the four polling stations for the Island wide voting referendum on Wednesday 10th October. Are you able to volunteer to help?

Polling is from 8.00am to 8.00pm and we have divided the 12 hour day into 4 sessions of 3 hours:

                8.00am - 11.00am

                11.00am - 2.00pm

                2.00pm - 5.00pm

                5.00pm - 8.00pm

The four polling stations are:

Constables' Office, Lefebvre Street (St PP South)

St Stephen's Church Hall (St PP South)

The Performing Arts Centre, Ozouets Campus (St PP North)

                Beau Sejour (St PP North)

The Ballot Officers are Douzeniers Barry Cash and David Falla.

No experience is necessary and training will be given. You do not need to live in St Peter Port and you do not need to be on the Electoral Roll.

Volunteers work in teams of two, checking voters against the Electoral Roll and passing out the ballot papers. It is all very straightforward.

Please help your Parish by volunteering your services by calling 720014 or by emailing constables@stppcons.com
